40 Amazing Vintage Photos of Women’s Fashion During the Edwardian Era
Respectable, decent, classy
I believe I was in another lifetime part of the Edwardian era. ❤️
Fascinating, but I doubt how many times they used to wash those hats…
4:30 Anna Paquin look alike, wow.
They sure did like to wear dead animal pelts a lot..
exactly "stunning" pics.Stunning and touching, especially with this music
Thanks for showing the history and also for showing me how lucky I am.
I agree the music sucks. Just because these women don't exist anymore is no reason to be morbid. They were all very happy when their photographs were taken, and had lives that deserve to be remembered for more than just the fact that they're now dead. They'd probably be horrified to see the wierd 'funeral-like musical commentary' on their existance.
At 0:21, This lady was a knock-out—– beautiful
They dressed beautifully back then! Now it's just fat people in jeans and t-shirts!
Some of those hats were amazing! Women must have had very strong neck muscles back then.
Some of these Hats were definitely far out there😄😄
Their slim figures were based upon tight corsets.
This music is really… something
Can you imagine how hot those clothes were in the summer? I mean those long dresses and the gloves? And no air conditioning !
One word, beautiful !
The pictures are fine, but how are they amazing?
It must have taken them an hour just to get dressed in the morning!
Interesting to note that fashion designers in those days, were just as crazy and impractical as they are now. I also note that smiling was not in fashion! I think the main differece with now is that they were happy to use real animal fur and put what seemed to be whole dead birds on their hats! Very interestomg item – Thank you.
Those big beautiful hats…
They're look so elegant, furs must be very popular at the time.
Queria muito aprender a usar um espartilho assim, kkk.
Truly the era of big hats! It dramatically simplified in the 1920s
